Sporting my new eye shadow..every day I love Kat Von D more & more!!!! I think it's catching up on my MAC make up collection..uh oh. It doesn't help that I work in SoHo and there's Bloomies, Sephora & MAC right down the street. Of course, the Internet is somewhat evil also and fuels my shopping addiction.

Eye Cream?

With so many products in the markets, it's hard to figure out the right one for you. I was told that it depends on what you are looking to accomplish, and unfortunately, there is no one miracle cream out there that gets rids of fine lines & clear dark circles. Thinking that I need something for dark circles, I was corrected that I have dark shadows, which is still salvageable (Thank God!). It's a "lifestyle" thing, a product of not getting enough rest, not being hydrated enough, etc. In my case, probably all of the above plus my year round allergies. I've tested Benefit's "Eyecon" product, and I don't know if I'm just losing it, but I didn't really notice anything. At that time, my purpose was to get rid of my "dark circles." Females in their mid-late twenties who adore the sun, should probably look into a product that will prevent aging and minimize fine lines before they get deeper. I was educated years ago that the same lotion we use on our face, should not be the same lotion used around the eye area. I'm still in search of a great eye product that will forever make me look young and radiant without costing a fortune, so please, send over suggestions!

Obsession

Ever since I bought Kat Von D's "Stiletto" red orange lipstick, I've been obsessed with her make up line. The colors are amazing, and I've bought several products since. Today, as I stroll into Sephora on my lunch break..a sale! How can a girl say no? I rummaged to find an ultra glossy lip gloss "Saint" and an eyeshadow duo in "King Cobra." I'll be trying this green shade as an alternative to my usual brown hues for work, perhaps spicing it up with a black smoky look for a night out. Either way, for two items under $20, this was such a highlight of my day!
